I'm Alexander Löhn, a freelance software developer in Hamburg, Germany. AI is my multiplier: I run an AI-driven delivery workflow built around Cursor and coding agents, and I build AI into products and processes for clients.
This isn't theory. This very website is built and maintained through an AI-driven workflow, and the chat assistant on my homepage is a custom AI agent that answers questions about my work and rates. At Sorpetaler, we dropped the CMS entirely — content changes arrive by email, AI implements them in the repository, and I review before anything goes live.

Sorpetaler Frontend Developer · Nov 2025 – 2025
A CMS-less website relaunch for Sorpetaler, with no separate content management system. Editorial content is updated directly in the source repository, and AI assists authors in editing copy and page structure in place.

- Three main areas: AI-driven migrations and maintenance of legacy codebases, CMS-less websites where AI handles content edits in the repository, and AI automation of repetitive business tasks — daily inbox reports, meeting summaries, invoice and document generation.
- Can a website really run without a CMS?
- Yes — proven at Sorpetaler, where we dropped Contentful entirely. To change something, the client sends an email; my AI implements the edit in the source repository, I review it, and it goes live. No license fees, no clunky admin UI.
- Do you build custom AI agents and chatbots?
- Yes. The AI assistant on my homepage is one I built myself — it knows my profile, projects, and rates. I build similar agents and automations for clients.
- Can AI help with our legacy codebase?
- That's one of my core services. Big rewrites rarely pay off, so I use AI-assisted refactoring, testing, and documentation to modernize what you have without stopping delivery — less pain, less downtime.
